Sydney van Delft is an actor, dancer, and artist from Toronto, Canada. She began performing at a young age and is a Canadian Champion rhythmic gymnast.  Sydney also attended the National Ballet School of Canada and performed with the National Ballet of Canada in ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Pastorale’, and the world premiere of James Kudelka’s ‘The Contract’. It was through these performances that Sydney discovered her love of acting, art, and playing different characters. As an actor, Sydney focuses on film and television and can been seen on CW, Freeform, USA Network, Amazon, and Disney and Family Channels as well as a former host for AFK Media, a subsidiary of the Toronto Star.  Her most recent film was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival, directed by Jerrod Carmichael, and acting opposite Christopher Abbott. 

Taking a short break from acting to immigrate to the US and have her first child, Sydney switched her focus to creating abstract art with natural, handmade pigments foraged from her local surroundings. 

Sydney currently resides in California and focuses her time on acting and creating new artworks.
